
Emirates resumes flights between Venice and Dubai, completely rebuilding the network of connections in Italy. The lagoon airport will have 3 flights per week from 1 July
But the news also concern flights to Milan: in fact, from 8 to 10 weekly flights to Milan will also be increased from 8 to 10. A daily service will be added on the Dubai-Milan-New York Jfk route and an additional return flight three times a week between Dubai and Milan. Together with Emirates’ 5 weekly flights to Rome and 3 weekly flights to Bologna, this will bring the company’s total services from Italy to 21 weekly flights from 4 cities in July.
The agreements for the flights The increase in connections also comes following the agreements on Covid tested flights, which allow for the elimination of the quarantine. “From 2 June onwards – reads the note -, Emirates customers traveling from Italy (Rome, Milan and Venice) aged 2 years or older must have a negative result from a molecular Covid test or a rapid antigen test performed 48 hours before departure.
Travelers must also undergo, at their own expense, a rapid swab test upon arrival in Italy ”. Emirates president and CEO Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum comments: “We welcome the Covid-tested flight agreements and would like to thank the Italian and UAE authorities for their continued efforts to facilitate international travel.”
