From next month, access will be allowed only to passengers with a Green Pass: aircraft; ships and ferries for interregional transport services (except those of the Strait of Messina); Inter City, Inter City Night and High Speed trains. Obligation of certification, also for those who will travel aboard long-distance buses, with itineraries that will include more than two regions.
According to what is also established by the Cabina di Regia, the capacity on board of long-distance transport services may go from 50% to 80%.
What changes from today:
The roadmap that will lead to the mandatory Green Pass remains unchanged. From today the pass – which certifies vaccination (at least with the first dose), recovery from Covid-19 or negativity to a swab carried out in the previous 48 hours – will be required for all persons over 12 years of age upon entry to indoor bars and restaurants (it will not be required for drinks outside the bar or at the counter), theme and amusement parks, outdoor shows, events and fairs, exhibitions, museums and places of culture and wellness centers.
Sanctions
Confirmation of the previously announced sanctions. Those who will fail to produce the pass risk a fine of up to 400 euros, which can be reduced if payed within five days. As for the merchants, after two violations, the business is expected to close from one to ten days.
No changes are foreseen, however, for the catering services in tourist facilities. The Cabina di Regia confirmed that “people housed in accommodation facilities will be able to consume their products indoors at the restaurants of the same structures even if they do not have the green certification”.
