Volotea, which has been relying on FAS Airport Services for several years for the management of layovers and passenger rerouting, invests in Veneto in view of the Christmas season.
The low cost airline has in fact decided to increase the frequencies for flights departing from Venice and Verona, in order to facilitate travel for Christmas, and to launch a new international route from the Verona airport.
In fact, the new connection to Barcelona makes its début from Verona, which is one of the 10 new routes launched by the carrier for the high Christmas season.
From 17 December to 11 January, therefore, Volotea will offer 63,000 seats for sale in Verona for eight flights: in addition to Barcelona, flights to Bari, Cagliari, Catania, Lamezia, Terme, Naples, Olbia and Palermo have been confirmed.
From Marco Polo in Venice, Volotea will operate on 12 routes: eight abroad (Athens, Bilbao, Bordeaux, Luxembourg, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes and Toulouse) and four in Italy (Bari, Cagliari, Catania and Palermo), for a total of over 46,300 seats on sale, 52 percent more than in the same period of 2019.
